The main purpose of this legislation is to require a thorough examination of the operations of LUMA Energy and Genera PR, two companies involved in Puerto Rico's energy sector. The goal is to assess how their management and decisions have impacted energy projects, federal recovery efforts, and overall grid resilience in Puerto Rico. This study aims to identify challenges and provide recommendations for improving energy services and disaster recovery in the region.
