The Jumpstart on College Act is designed to enhance educational opportunities for students, particularly those from low-income backgrounds and underrepresented groups, by facilitating their timely completion of postsecondary education. The Act aims to increase the number of students earning recognized degrees or credentials by establishing a grant program managed by the Secretary of Education. This program will support early college high schools and dual or concurrent enrollment initiatives that allow high school students to earn college credits before graduation.
