The Cybersecurity Skills Integration Act is designed to enhance the cybersecurity skills of the workforce involved in critical infrastructure. Its primary goal is to improve postsecondary career and technical education programs that incorporate cybersecurity training, ensuring that individuals are better equipped for employment in this essential sector. To accomplish this, the Act establishes a pilot program allowing the Secretary of Education to award competitive grants, up to $500,000 per year, to partnerships that create or enhance educational programs focused on cybersecurity.
