The Connecticut River Watershed Partnership Act is designed to enhance the restoration and protection of the Connecticut River Watershed, which spans Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Its primary goals are to improve ecosystem health, support local communities, and preserve natural resources for future generations. The Act establishes a nonregulatory program and a competitive grant program, both of which will be created within 180 days of the Act's enactment.
