The Mapping America's Pharmaceutical Supply Act, or MAPS Act, aims to strengthen the federal government's ability to identify and mitigate health and national security risks associated with essential medicines. This is accomplished by creating and maintaining an Essential Medicines List, assessing supply chain vulnerabilities, and implementing a monitoring system that utilizes data analytics to track these supply chains.
